NAAC

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) is an autonomous body of the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India that assesses and accredits institutions of higher education. It was established in 1994 and is headquartered in Bangalore, India. The NAAC evaluates institutions based on various parameters, including teaching, learning, and research; infrastructure and learning resources; student support and services; governance and management; and innovation and research. The accreditation process involves a comprehensive evaluation of the institution's performance and provides a rating based on the level of quality achieved. The NAAC aims to promote quality assurance in higher education and enhance the overall standards of education in India.
