Autonomy

The emphatic response to the growing need to modernize and update curriculum, to elevate industry alignment, to prioritize indigenous and regional heritage and to usher structural reforms was `Autonomy'. Hence, the College sought for the prestigious `Autonomous Status'.

The UGC conferred Autonomy to the College in 2017. As per the requirements of the UGC, appropriate statutory administrative bodies were formed to manage academic, financial and general administration. Besides, non-statutory committees were formed to aid the administration.
