Pope’s College Student Council has a marvellous practice of extending help to their student friends and classmates who are in need of financial help. This is a pleasant idea conceived by members of the Student Council themselves. This scheme is called SSS (Students Shouldering Students). We know that when life gets tough, students are more likely to talk to their friends than anyone else. This is the idea of the birth of the scheme. Our students are kind enough to show that there is supportive environment available in the campus to help fellow students in cases of agony. The council members let their friends know things that they are here to help needy students and ask them to make use of SSS. A committee of staff members mobilize resources and make it available to all the beneficiaries.
